This speaks exactly to the point I’ve been making for days now. Democrats are trying to pull a con job on us with the stimulus. They don’t want scrutiny or debate of this bill so that we Americans start to notice all the dog parks and frisbee golf courses and nationalized health care tucked into it. So they’re trying to scare you into ignoring that stuff by suggesting that we’ll be headed for an economic apocalypse if this bill isn’t passed.
It’s a neat trick, I guess, but I don’t think the American public signed up for tricks and misdirection when they voted for “hope and change.”
