Is Malia Obama following in the fashionista footsteps of her mother, First Lady Michelle Obama, and flashing designer duds?
For the flight with her family from Washington DC to Moscow, the 11-year old First Tween sported a skirt that bears a striking resemblance to one by designer See by Chloe.
The skirt is available for purchase online at Intermix, retails for $345 but is now on sale for $219. The White House does not comment on the clothing choices of the First Daughters’ and would not confirm that the skirt was indeed by the designer.
If so, Malia, who just turned eleven this past weekend, may have inherited her mother's taste in sometimes expensive clothes. Most recently Mrs. Obama, who at times is also known to wear affordable J Crew, was seen sporting a pair of $540 kicks at a community service event at a DC food bank.
